This includes processing lab specimens, coordinating between laboratory staff and medical personnel, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will help contribute to patient satisfaction and care quality by ensuring that laboratory services are delivered effectively. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Process lab specimens and ensure proper documentation and labelingAssist in managing lab inventory and supplies to ensure availabilityCoordinate with lab staff for timely specimen analysis and results reportingMaintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with health regulationsAnswer phone calls and address inquiries regarding lab services and resultsSupport billing and insurance verification processes as neededEnsure a clean and organized lab environment adhering to safety protocolsAssist in scheduling lab appointments and managing patient flowWork collaboratively with clinical teams to support patient careParticipate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiativesPerform additional administrative tasks as needed and directed by managementRequirementsHigh School Diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred2+ years of administrative experience in a healthcare or laboratory setting requiredStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent interpersonal and communication abilitiesFamiliarity with medical terminology and laboratory procedures is a plusBenefitsBenefits of joining Qualderm Partners:
