Quality Assurance - Mass Production Parts Quality Engineer

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to interact with suppliers (domestic and international) to ensure product quality requirements. In-depth knowledge of supplier audit skills for processes/systems and products. Knowledge of products and manufacturing processes for engines, transmissions, and raw material components. Supplier risk assessment to ensure defect-free product quality assurance. Basic knowledge of the Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) process and the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for effective part development activities. Experience in crisis management to support production line quality issues. In addition to the Powertrain Quality Team for which we are currently recruiting, the department is comprised of five specialized teams: the Vehicle Quality Team, Parts Development Team, Materials Lab, and Measurement Lab.
