As an integral member of Daimler, accounting for approximately 40% of its sales, the company delivers the highest quality trucks and buses to over 170 markets and realizes innovative vehicle manufacturing.Job Description In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements and dealing with suppliers for mass-produced part quality control. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to interact with suppliers (domestic and international) to ensure product quality requirements. In-depth knowledge of supplier audit skills for processes/systems and products. Knowledge of products and manufacturing processes for engines, transmissions, and raw material components. Supplier risk assessment to ensure defect-free product quality assurance. Basic knowledge of the Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) process and the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for effective part development activities. Experience in crisis management to support production line quality issues. You'll have the opportunity to directly negotiate with domestic and international suppliers and hone your quality control expertise in a global environment. This position allows you to utilize your in-depth knowledge of international standards such as ISO/IATF and your advanced negotiation skills. [Department Overview]The Supplier Quality Management Department has approximately 80 members. In addition to the Powertrain Quality Team for which we are currently recruiting, the department is comprised of five specialized teams: the Vehicle Quality Team, Parts Development Team, Materials Lab, and Measurement Lab.
