Job Description

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering or equivalent.• Minimum (12) years of overall experience in project and constructionmanagement, specially in Quality Assurance and Quality Control• Minimum (5) years managerial experience in Quality Management• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).• Very good command of spoken and written English.• Certified as a quality management system lead auditor ISO 9001 for conductinginternal/external audits based on ISO 19011.• Ability to establish all method statements and procedures from project takeoverto handover documentation with the client.• Capable of establishing key performance indicators, analyzing causes ofdeviation, and reporting them.• Able to review technical submissions to ensure they meet all contractualrequirements and review contracts related to QA/QC activities.• Familiar with universal standards such as NFPA, SMACNA, NEC, IEC, UPC,ASTM, ACI, AASHTO etc.• Ability to establish project quality plans based on contractual requirements andISO 10005.• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to follow up, planwork, and make decisionsResponsiblities• Inform the quality team and construction team before starting each new activity.• Attend meetings to present the department on all occasions and whenrequested.• Regularly follow up with the quality and construction teams to track theprogress of quality activities.• Review issued construction plans to address related quality concerns.• Ensure that work is inspected up to date.• Hold daily meetings with the team to review inspection status, analyze causes ofrejections, and take necessary corrective actions.• Ensure that all completed work is inspected, documented, and archived.• Establish a control methodology for work inspection, combining delivery status,construction of project components, and approved inspection documentation.• Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and establish a responsibility matrix toanalyze and address corrective actions, study root causes, and reflect them inthe quality plan.• Prevent any passive effects on the company's quality policy and objectives.• Follow up on interim payment certificates to identify any gaps in inspections, ifany.• Establish and follow up on procedures for testing and commissioning.
