Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

As a QA Test Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing the customer requirements and design testing strategies that will demonstrate conformance to functional and non-functional requirements. The role involves designing and executing the test plans, creating test reports and managing all activities to ensure that all product and quality objectives are met. Responsibilities : Create test specifications, test cases, acceptance test plans, procedures and reports Conduct and document test execution, both manual and automated Participate in the software release and deployment process. Isolate, replicate, and report defects, and verify fixes. Design and write automated test scripts based on Python and Gitlab CI/CD pipelines. Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables Work closely with developers and the support team to identify and resolve defects, during development and production phase. Required Skills : 4 years of experience in full lifecycle testing of software and / or embedded applications Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field. Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases Proven experience with Linux operating system. Proven experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, MQTT, HTTP/REST APIs). Experience with Bash and/or Python scripting. Strong communications skills, able to explain complex issues to people with varying technical backgrounds and depth of knowledge Good problem solving and analytical skills Be pro-active and be capable of working on their own initiative with minimum supervision Desired Skills : Experience with automated testing is a big plus Some familiarity with software (C, C++, Java)Able to work safely and confidently with hardware devices.
