Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to identify test requirements, automate test scenarios, and ensure seamless product releases.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and define test plans.Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and report defects.Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution using appropriate tools (e.g., Jira).Continuously improve automation frameworks and testing processes.Conduct performance, regression, and functional testing as needed.Contribute to test strategy, test data preparation, and quality metrics reporting.Stay updated with emerging automation tools, trends, and best practices.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.2–5 years of experience in QA automation or software testing.Strong knowledge of automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit).Experience with programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and processes.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).Knowledge of containerization and cloud environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AWS).ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications.Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
