The company invests strongly in personal development, offering opportunities for technical expertise growth, career progression, and leadership development.Job DescriptionAs a QA Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding quality both internally and externally. You will contribute to maintaining and improving the ISO/IEC 17025-compliant quality system, ensuring procedures are up-to-date, accreditations are monitored, and QA objectives are met. You will coordinate proficiency testing, manage external calibrations, deliver training, and conduct audits across departments. Additionally, you will support improvement initiatives, identify risks and opportunities, and translate challenges into practical, quality-driven actions that enhance compliance and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and improve the ISO/IEC 17025-compliant quality systemDevelop, review, and update QA procedures and documentationMonitor accreditations and support organizational quality issuesCoordinate proficiency tests and external calibrationsProvide QA training across departmentsConduct internal audits and ensure follow-up on findingsAdvise on and support improvement initiativesAddress risks and opportunities related to compliance and qualityEssential Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in laboratory technology, preferably with specialization in analytical chemistry, or equivalent education/experienceDemonstrable experience in a laboratory environmentStrong knowledge of quality systems and ISO/IEC 17025 standardsAffinity with legislation and legal recognition is a plusStrong adaptability and organizational sensitivity; able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organizationAnalytical, precise, quality-driven, and decisive; able to balance detail orientation with results focusSkilled in computer systems and data processingFluent in Dutch and EnglishAdditional Insights:Location: Barendrecht, NetherlandsDepartment: Quality Assurance (Food Testing)Contract: One-year with prospect of permanent employmentWorking Hours: 40 hours per weekSalary Range: €3,139 – €4,100 gross/month (based on 40h, depending on experience)Benefits:25 vacation days (40h basis) + option to purchase additional leaveHybrid working model with €400 home-working budgetMonthly gym membership contributionStrong pension plan with reduced working hours option later in careerProfit-sharing planInclusive holiday policy (e.g., option to take leave on Eid al-Fitr or other personal holidays)Individual budget (holiday allowance, profit sharing, extra leave, or tax-efficient benefits)Interested?
