Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Overview:One of our clients is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our engineering team in ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of Traveloka’s web, mobile, and API platformsYou’ll be responsible for both manual and automation testing, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and release teams to ensure smooth delivery within a fast-paced Agile environment.This role offers exposure to large-scale systems, CI/CD integration, and the opportunity to shape QA practices for one of Indonesia’s leading tech companies.Key Responsibilities:Analyze business and technical requirements to design detailed and comprehensive test casesCreate, maintain, and execute manual test cases for functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across web and mobile applicationsIdentify, document, and track bugs using defect management tools.Design and maintain automation scripts for:Web: Selenium, Playwright, or similarMobile: Appium or equivalentAPI: Postman, Rest Assured, or similar frameworksContribute to CI/CD test automation integration (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)Manage test data, validate test environments, and perform end-to-end testing across multiple componentsMaintain QA documentation in TestRail, JIRA, or ConfluenceCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure test coverage and product quality in each sprintContinuously enhance QA efficiency, automation coverage, and testing practicesKey Requirements:Must-Haves:Strong manual testing experience across web, iOS, and Android platformsHands-on experience in automation testing (web/mobile/API)Good understanding of SDLC, QA lifecycle, and Agile/Scrum methodologyProficiency in at least one scripting language (Java, JavaScript, or Python)Familiar with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and test management tools (e.g., TestRail, JIRA, Zephyr)Strong analytical thinking, communication, and documentation skillsNice-to-Haves:Experience with accessibility, localization, or performance testingFamiliarity with cloud-based testing tools (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)
