Quality Assurance Engineer (speaks Mandarin and English)

Responsibilities:Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications and APIs create detailed bug reportsCollaborate with developers and product managers to identify, document, and resolve defects.Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across backend, frontend, and cloud-based systems.Automate repetitive test cases to improve efficiency and coverage.Monitor and analyze test results, ensuring software meets quality standards.Provide feedback and suggest improvements to the software development lifecycle.Understand and analyze the existing product as well as new featuresRequirementsRequired Qualifications:2+ years of experience in QA engineering for web applications and APIs.Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar.Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).Hands-on experience with SQL and testing databases like PostgreSQL.Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Exposure to performance monitoring tools like Grafana.Preferred Personal Traits: AccountabilityTeamworkIntegrityInterview process1.
