Job Title: QA Assurance EngineerExperience: 5–10 YearsLocation: RemoteEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled QA Assurance Engineer with 5–10 years of experience in manual and automated testing to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable software products. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong analytical skills, and can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve software defects.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing features.Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing across web, mobile, and API layers.Design and implement test automation frameworks and scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.Conduct API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent tools.Collaborate closely with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to clarify requirements and ensure quality throughout the SDLC.Participate in release readiness, risk assessments, and root-cause analysis of defects.Track and report test coverage, defect metrics, and quality KPIs.Ensure adherence to QA best practices, processes, and standards.Contribute to continuous improvement of QA methodologies, automation strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.5–10 years of hands-on QA experience in manual and automation testing.Strong experience in automation tools: Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent.Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD environments.Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar).Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail, etc.Strong expertise in API testing (Postman, RestAssured).Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and documentation skills.
