Job DescriptionQuality EngineerLocation: West FlandersSalary: €70,000As a Quality Engineer, you play a key role in strengthening and evolving our quality culture. You act as the connecting link between engineering, production, suppliers, and customers, ensuring that quality is embedded throughout the entire product lifecycle—from concept to delivery.Your ResponsibilitiesYou investigate customer complaints in a structured way, identify root causes, and translate insights into sustainable improvements.You establish and refine quality processes that enable fast, accurate problem resolution and clear internal communication.You actively contribute to New Product Introduction (NPI), ensuring quality, reliability, and manufacturability are considered from the earliest design stages.You define and coordinate test strategies for new product developments, adapting test plans to product-specific risks and requirements.You monitor and optimize quality KPIs and quality control processes across the organization.You manage certifications, standards, and compliance requirements, ensuring alignment with internal and external expectations.You collaborate closely with engineering, testing, operations, purchasing, and sales to continuously raise quality standards—both internally and at supplier level.Your ProfileYou hold a technical Master’s degree or have equivalent experience in a technical or industrial environment.You bring solid experience in quality engineering, preferably within manufacturing, metal, or mechanically complex products.You are familiar with risk analysis techniques and know how to apply them pragmatically.You think analytically, challenge assumptions, and enjoy working with structured, process-driven approaches.You have strong interpersonal skills: you influence without authority, bring teams together, and enjoy working across disciplines.What We OfferA role with real impact on products, processes, and customer satisfaction.A technically challenging environment where innovation and quality go hand in hand.Close collaboration with motivated experts across engineering, production, and supply chain.Room for initiative, ownership, and continuous professional growth.
