We are currently serving North America customers with endless technological innovations for safe and reliable transportation equipment that supports the life of the vehicle.About The RoleThe Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products conform to established quality standards and customer specifications. This position plays a key role in supporting Woojin IS America’s Quality Management System (QMS) by performing inspections, documenting results, and maintaining compliance with internal and external quality requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesInspection & VerificationPerform inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and final assemblies to verify conformance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standardsUtilize precision measurement tools and testing equipment to assess product dimensions, functionality, and appearanceIdentify and document non-conformances; segregate and reject materials or products that fail to meet requirementsMaintain complete and accurate inspection records, reports, and test data in accordance with QMS proceduresProcess & Compliance AuditsAudit production processes to verify traveler accuracy, documentation completeness, and adherence to customer hold pointsSupport internal and external audits by providing objective evidence of inspection records, calibration certificates, and process documentationCollaboration & Problem SolvingWork closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve non-conformance issuesParticipate in root-cause analyses and contribute to corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activitiesSupport continuous improvement by identifying trends, recurring issues, and opportunities to enhance quality and efficiencyDocumentation & ReportingPrepare and compile First Article Inspection (FAI) reports and Car History Books in support of customer submissionsAssist with maintaining inspection procedures, work instructions, and quality records in compliance with ISO 9001 and customer requirementsSupport other quality-related assignments as directed by managementRequired QualificationsEducation:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality assurance, or a related field preferredExperience:Minimum 2 years of experience in quality inspection or assurance in a manufacturing or production environmentExperience in electrical or mechanical assembly inspection preferredTechnical Skills:Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specificationsSkilled in using precision inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and multimetersFamiliarity with ISO 9001 standards and QMS documentation requirementsProficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)Behavioral Competencies:Strong attention to detail and accuracyAnalytical mindset with problem-solving abilityEffective written and verbal communication skillsDependable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a teamCompensation & BenefitsHourly Rate: $22.00 – $26.00 (based on experience)Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Short-Term Disability, and Critical Illness coveragePaid Time Off: Vacation, Sick Leave, Bereavement, and Paid HolidaysRetirement Plan: Coming soonPowered by JazzHRBamJb5jPpb
