Job Description

Purpose:The QA Manager plays a key role ensuring technology solutions meet the highest standards before they go live. They focus on building strong testing practices, guiding their team, and working closely with others to catch issues early. Their goal is to improve product quality, reduce risk, and help teams deliver with confidence.Key Responsibilities:• Define and implement the QA strategy covering unit, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).• Coordinate and oversee all testing activities to ensure consistent standards and traceability across projects.• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of 4 to 6 QA analysts and testers• Serve as the escalation point for defect triage, resolution, and quality risk management• Oversee the design, execution, and sign-off of test plans, ensuring readiness prior to release cutover.• Collaborate with DevOps and Release Management teams to align testing with deployment cycles and release schedules.• Maintain and enforce quality benchmarks across all testing phases to ensure consistent delivery standards.• Drive continuous improvement through analysis of defect trends, testing efficiency, and quality KPIs.• Foster innovation in testing through automation, performance testing, and use of modern QA tools and methodologies.Skills:Good to have:• 5 to 8 years of experience leading QA functions in complex software delivery environments.• Strong knowledge of modern testing frameworks, methodologies, and automation tools.• Proven ability to establish and maintain testing standards aligned with compliance and audit requirements.• Experience mentoring and managing multi-disciplinary QA teams across multiple projects.• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on defect prevention and root cause analysis.• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.• A passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and ensuring that every KPMG technology solution meets the highest quality standards.
