Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated QA Manager to lead our Quality Assurance team and ensure the highest standards of food safety and product excellence. This is a full-time, onsite position located at our new state-of-the-art production facility.Key Responsibilities· Quality Oversight: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive QA programs and policies that align with NorthStar Pickle Company’s mission and regulatory requirements.· Food Safety Management: Oversee HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and other food safety systems. Conduct audits, risk assessments, and ensure compliance with FDA, and state health regulations.· Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor QA and production teams. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.· Process Improvement: Analyze production processes, laboratory results, and consumer feedback to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.· Documentation & Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of QA activities, corrective actions, and inspections. Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory agencies.· Training & Education: Design and deliver training programs for staff on food safety, personal hygiene, allergen management, and product quality standards.· Supplier & Ingredient Verification: Collaborate with Procurement to audit suppliers, review ingredient specifications, and verify that all inputs meet stringent quality criteria.· Product Development Support: Partner with production team to test new recipes, ingredients, and packaging in compliance with QA protocols.· Customer Relations: Serve as a technical point of contact for ensuring timely and transparent communication with customers and regulatory bodies.
