Lead and support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Food Safety and Quality Systems to ensure compliance with legal requirements, industry best practices, and customer standards. This role offers the opportunity to influence quality culture, drive improvements, and work on diverse projects within a dynamic environment.Key Benefits for You:Career Growth: Exposure to leadership responsibilities, cross-functional collaboration, and opportunities to progress into senior technical roles.Professional Development: Gain experience in HACCP, TACCP, VACCP, auditing, and supplier management, with potential for lead auditor certification.Impactful Work: Play a key role in safeguarding food safety and quality standards, influencing product development and customer satisfaction.Variety & Challenge: Involvement in audits, risk assessments, new product introductions, and continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborative Environment: Work closely with technical teams, suppliers, and customers, building strong professional networks.Flexibility: Hybrid working options and opportunities for travel to broaden experience.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain Food Safety & Quality Systems aligned with regulatory and customer requirements.Lead or support HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP teams to ensure robust food safety and defence plans.Manage internal audit programs and coordinate external audits for compliance and certification.Oversee supplier approval processes, risk assessments, and performance reviews.Support new product development through specification creation, factory trials, and quality attribute sheets.Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues and customer complaints.Maintain accurate documentation, data control, and reporting of quality metrics and KPIs.Deliver food safety and hygiene training to enhance site culture.Collaborate cross-functionally to implement quality improvement initiatives.Skills & Qualifications:Diploma or higher in Food Science or related discipline.Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environment (1–5+ years depending on level).HACCP certification essential; auditing experience desirable.Strong knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., BRC) and legislation.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with quality management systems.Click below to apply.
