Role: QA TesterLocation: Toronto, ON (Downtown) — Hybrid (3 days/week Onsite)Type: Long term Contract (Possible Extension)Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced QA / Automation Tester / Functional Tester with strong hands-on testing experience across web and API-based applications. The ideal candidate will have solid functional testing, test case creation, execution, defect tracking, and familiarity working in Agile environments.Key Responsibilities:Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for multiple applications.Write and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test data.Execute test cycles and track defects using tools like JIRA / Azure DevOps.Collaborate closely with BA, Developers, Product Owners and other QA team members.Conduct API testing using tools like Postman / SOAP UI.Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives). Required Skills:6–8 years of experience in Manual / Functional Testing.Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.Experience testing web applications and REST APIs.Good experience working in Agile / Scrum environment.Excellent communication and documentation skills.
