The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining automated and manual test cases that validate the functionality, non-functional, performance, and compatibility of office-based tools and add-ins across platforms.Key responsibilityDesign and execute test cases including those integrated with COM or web-based add-ins.Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify test requirements and resolve defects.Perform smoke/regression testing and ensure backward compatibility.Document test results, create bug reports, and track issues through resolution.Support localization and accessibility testing for office-based applications.Required QualificationsJavaScriptNodeJSDeep knowledge on UI Testing experiencedAPI Testing POSTMANGitBackend testingMicrosoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Jira).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication in English.Self-learning and self-managed.Preferred QualificationsExperience testing Office Add-ins (COM or Web-based).TypescriptJavaScript Test Framework experienced e.g. cypress, webdriver.io (Optional but good to have)Selenium setPlaywrightUnderstanding of QA processes in Agile/Scrum environments.Exposure to internationalisation/localisation testing.Non-functional testing (e.g. Performance testing, Accessibility testing)Benefits:We are looking for intellectually curious people, passionate about the bigger picture of how technology industry is evolving, ready to ask difficult questions and deal with complicated scenarios!
