Quality Control Agro

OverviewThis Quality Contorl (QC) Agro Staff role is responsible for our Raw Material (Potatoes) inspection, monitoring and implementation of QC. This includes tuber testing, sample collection, lab testing, records verification and finalization before release of material. This position will handle our incoming raw material and maintain our raw material quality check at PepsiCo Plant and our Third-Party Company.ResponsibilitiesWhat you will be responsible for:Conduct tuber testing for potatoes and record verificationAnalyze incoming and remaining potatoes qualityConduct testing as per PepsiCo standard method on timely mannerEnsure all production records for critical quality monitoring is verified and passedEnsure lab equipment and all apparatus are in good condition, calibrated, and ready to use at all timesPrepare chemicals for the use of laboratory and also production station labQualificationsWhat you will need to have:A minimum of bachelor’s or diploma degree in Agronomy, Chemical, Chemical Analyst, Food Tech, Agricultural or related fieldMinimum 2-3 years’ experience in Quality role in a Food/Beverage manufacturing companyAttention to details when inspecting and analyzing potatoes qualityAccountability in verifying production records and ensuring quality standards are metTime management to conduct testing and reporting within required timelinesCollaboration with production teams and third-party partners for smooth operationsSafety awareness in handling chemicals and operating lab equipmentProblem-solving to address issues in raw material quality or lab processesAdaptability to respond to changing production needs and testing requirementsClear communication to report findings and coordinate with relevant teamsAbility to operate lab equipment for tuber testing and quality analysisDevelop knowledge of PepsiCo standard testing methods and proceduresSkills in preparing and handling chemicals for lab and production useCompetence in verifying and documenting critical quality recordsUnderstanding of quality control protocols for raw material inspectionCapability to maintain and calibrate lab apparatus for accurate testingFamiliarity with safety procedures and technical standards in lab environmentsProficiency in interpreting test results to support production decisions
