You’ll work closely with experienced chemists and technicians, gaining hands-on experience in a real-world lab environment.Your Day-to-day Will Include Testing raw materials and finished products Helping develop and improve testing methods Maintaining and calibrating lab equipment Supporting health & safety in the QC lab Creating Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and product labels Analysing data and reporting results Assisting with new product development and process improvements Learning how our production processes work and suggesting improvements as well as contributing to wider initiatives around efficiency, quality, customer satisfaction and COPQ.DUTIES Testing raw materials and finished products Helping develop and improve testing methods Maintaining and calibrating lab equipment Supporting health & safety in the QC lab Creating Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and product labels Analysing data and reporting results Assisting with new product development and process improvements Learning how our production processes work and suggesting improvements as well as contributing to wider initiatives around efficiency, quality, customer satisfaction and COPQ.WORKING HOURS PER WEEK40 hours per weekRequired Skills Has a science or chemistry background (GCSE level or higher) A team player who can also work independentlyRequired Qualities Confident, enthusiastic, and eager to learn Polite, professional, and has a positive attitudeRequired Qualifications4 or 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4/A*-C, including English and Maths minimum.A GCSE in Chemistry is preferredNUMBER OF VACANCIES1FUTURE PROSPECTSPotential for further training and development on successful completion of the apprenticeship
