Quality Control Engineer

Smart Power has an outstanding experience in the field of Electromechanical engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of high and medium voltage substations and power stations, design and procurement of control, protection, planning and designs of LV & MV distribution networks, communication and SCADA systems for distribution & transmission networks and construction management of power projects.We are seeking an experienced SiteManager to oversee and drive the success of multiple projects from our Head Office. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and senior management to ensure timely and efficient project delivery. This role is central to our operations, coordinating resources, setting project milestones, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.Location : Aswan Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans for projects.Inspect materials, equipment, and construction works to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.Review and verify shop drawings, design documents, and technical submittals from contractors.Conduct site inspections and monitor ongoing construction activities to ensure adherence to quality standards.Coordinate with project teams (Design, Construction, Procurement) to resolve quality-related issues.Prepare and maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.Support project management in achieving project quality objectives and milestonesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.3–7 years of experience in Quality Control in construction or industrial projects.Strong knowledge of quality standards, inspection procedures, and testing methods.Proficient in using QC tools, AutoCAD, Excel, and reporting software.Attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to identify deviations from specifications.Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
