QC Microbiology Specialist – Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing | Dublin, Ireland12 Months ContractAre you passionate about microbiology and ready to make an impact in a cutting-edge biologics facility? A leading biopharmaceutical company in Dublin is seeking a QC Microbiology Specialist to join its high-performing Quality Control team.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform in-process, utility, and raw material testing (Bioburden and Endotoxin) to support manufacturing operations.Conduct Growth Promotion Testing for media lots and Microorganism identifications post-testing.Execute Minute Mouse Virus (MMV) PCR testing, method transfers, and compendial verifications.Maintain timely and accurate laboratory documentation in compliance with cGMP and SOPs.Support cross-functional teams to ensure qualification and production schedules stay on track.Investigate alert/action limit excursions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Promote 6S and lean lab practices and uphold the highest standards of safety and housekeeping.What We’re Looking ForA Level 8 degree (or higher) in Microbiology or a related scientific discipline.Minimum 1 year of experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare laboratory environment.Strong background in microbiological testing and aseptic techniques.Experience with Bioburden, Endotoxin, or Sterility testing is an advantage.Familiarity with systems such as MODA, CIMS, LIMS, LES, or Veeva Vault is desirable.Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively in team settings.Flexibility to work shift patterns as required.Important Note - Candidate maybe required to work a shift pattern.
