Quality Engineer

Summary:The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality projects by implementing and maintaining effective quality assurance processes. With a focus on monitoring construction practices, reviewing materials, and ensuring adherence to specifications. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong ability to identify problems and offer timely solutions to ensure smooth project execution.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.Review project designs and technical specifications to ensure they meet quality requirements.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the quality of materials and construction practices.Document inspection and testing activities and prepare detailed quality reports with necessary recommendations.Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on quality issues.Oversee contractors and suppliers, ensuring their compliance with contractual quality standards.Supervise quality tests for key construction materials in coordination with accredited laboratories.Support on-site engineering teams by interpreting quality standards and providing technical guidance as needed.Identify and address any quality-related issues promptly to maintain project timelines and standards.Develop, execute, and analyze quality reporting measures.Prepare quality reports and communicate findings to management for continuous improvement.Requirements & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, or Quality Engineering.Minimum of 4 years of proven quality experience.Good knowledge of quality management standards and systems.Strong knowledge of quality tools used in the industry.Experience in working closely with contractors and suppliers, including conducting on-site reviews of their work.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).Strong auditing and attention-to-detail skills.Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively.
