With a global presence, we have subsidiaries in Italy, the United States, Mexico, Brazil, China, India, Morocco and Japan, and distributes its products to over 70 countries.We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our Mexico Plant, responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our wiper-system assembly line for truck programs. The ideal candidate combines a structured, data-driven mindset with hands-on experience in manufacturing quality systems. This person will act as the local reference for all plant and customer quality matters, maintaining robust processes and supporting continuous improvement as production scales up.Essential TasksGuard daily quality performance on the line, monitoring and improving FPY, scrap, rework, and defect paretos through structured problem-solving (5-Why, 8D).Run and sustain incoming and in-process controls (visual, dimensional, torque, functional), ensuring gages, calibration, and MSA/GRR are up to date.Maintain and execute Control Plans and Work Instructions handed over from Spain; manage change control in coordination with the Production Manager.Build and keep the PPAP dossier current; support Run@Rate rehearsals and customer PSW/liberations.Lead or support internal audits and readiness for ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and VDA 6.3 (training provided if needed).Partner with Process Engineering and Maintenance on root-cause analysis and corrective actions (4M approach: Man, Method, Machine, Material).Serve as the local interface with customers and suppliers on quality issues, maintaining a calm, factual, and professional communication style.Profile Required3+ years of experience in manufacturing quality, ideally in the automotive industry or other highly disciplined environments.Strong grasp of Control Plans, defect analysis, basic statistics, and 8D methodology.Hands-on experience in incoming/in-process inspection, gage management, and MSA/GRR.Excellent organizational and documentation discipline, with attention to detail and traceability.Fluent Spanish and working proficiency in English (required for Spain-based training and technical documentation).Availability for occasional off-shift or weekend support during new product launches.Nice to have (trainable if missing):Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and VDA 6.3 standards.Experience with PPAP documentation, Run@Rate, and customer audits.Familiarity with traceability systems, torque tools, and functional testing.What We Offer🚀 Join a Thriving Company: Work for a rapidly growing and strategically positioned company.👋 Dynamic Team Environment: Collaborate in active work environment alongside a team of highly qualified and dedicated professionals.🌍 Inclusive Culture: Thrive in an inclusive culture that values diversity, where all individuals, regardless of background, gender, sexual orientation, abilities, or gender identity, feel respected and valued.If you are interested in joining our DOGA team, do not hesitate to apply.
