Quality Engineer

ELTA Systems, a leading global technology company specializing in radar, signal intelligence, electronic warfare, communications, and integrated systems, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join its Projects Division. This role involves supporting complex, multidisciplinary systems installed across diverse platforms worldwide — land, sea, air, and space.The position includes:Working on diverse, multidisciplinary projects and systems installed on various global platforms, including radar, communications, and robotics.Providing reliability and quality engineering support for business projects throughout all stages: marketing, development, testing, acceptance, delivery, and post-delivery customer support.Defining and implementing project quality and reliability requirements, environmental conditions, qualification processes, and risk management plans related to quality, reliability, and safety.Preparing reports for delivery and presenting them to customers.Performing statistical analyses to support calculations of reliability, maintainability, testability, design safety, and field reliability.Collaborating with business, engineering, subcontractor, and customer teams.Participating in internal and external design reviews, with occasional travel abroad.What we’re looking for:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics – requiredExperience in preparing test execution plans – requiredStrong analytical and technical skills – requiredAbility to quickly read and understand technical standards, contracts, and documentation in English – requiredWillingness to travel abroad as neededStrong English reading, writing, and speaking skills – requiredGood to know:ELTA Systems, a subsidiary of Israel Aerospace Industries, operates from Ashdod and Be’er Sheva and serves as Israel’s center of excellence for radar and intelligence technologies. The Engineering and Systems Division develops and produces advanced hardware, microwave, and mechanical components for all ELTA systems.This position is part of a growing, dynamic department focused on reliability and quality at every project stage — from the smallest component to complete system delivery — across air, land, and sea platforms. Quality Engineers at ELTA play a key role throughout the project lifecycle, from marketing through development, manufacturing, integration, and post-delivery activities.
