We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer. The successful incumbent will create, implement, maintain and monitor quality plans related to manufacturing processes for rotating and structural aerospace components. Monitor and analyze manufacturing process capabilities and provide root cause analysis, corrective action and overall guidance to maintain/improve metrics.Essential ResponsibilitiesDevelop/implement/improve manufacturing process quality plansCreate process documentation (CA&V, ICP, PFMEA)Review/disposition of non-conformance and facilitate root cause review/assignmentMonitor Process quality metrics and initiate improvement plansImplement corrective actions and monitor sustainmentMonitor process capabilities and raise issues for awarenessInterface with suppliers to develop/troubleshoot specials processes issuesReview drawings/specification changesInterface directly with customers to alleviate quality issuesMonitor/develop plans to alleviate MRB/Slow moving WIPPresent process metrics utilizing Microsoft PowerPointDevelop/Maintain expert knowledge of customer specifications and requirementsDevelop and train customer/part specific procedures for quality, technical and operational staffSubmit/introduce FPA/DAR plans/changesProvide technical leadership to team membersOther duties as assigned by Supervisor, Manager or DirectorPosition Requirements3-5 years quality engineering experience preferably in aerospace machiningGood understanding of GD&T.
