Everything we do at Sysco LABS supports Sysco’s Purpose of “Connecting the world to share food and care for one another”, and our work directly impacts millions of food consumers in a trillion-dollar, global industry.For more information visit: www.syscolabs.lkThe OpportunityWe are currently on the lookout for a Quality Engineering Lead to join us and work with our teams across the company.Responsibilities:Leading efforts in defining test strategies, test planning, execution and reviewsImproving and maintaining test automation frameworksReviewing and contributing towards the development of automation scriptsDeveloping and enhancing the test strategies for test automation and performance testingConfiguring and maintaining continuous integrationOverlooking and managing test execution and communicating test statuses to stakeholdersMentoring, training, and leading a team of Quality EngineersRequirements:A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification, and 6-7+ years of industry experienceExperience in test automation using open-source tools such as Rest Assured/SeleniumExperience in performance engineering and performance testing toolsExperience in ETL testing and API testing, along with strong test automation skills, is preferredA solid understanding of cloud platforms and their services will be considered an added advantageHands-on knowledge and exposure to testing Apache Kafka–based data pipelines and streaming applications will be considered an added advantageExperience in testing middle-tier and service-oriented architectures using tools such as Rest-Assured or SoapUIStrong knowledge of software testing processes, practices and test design techniquesStrong knowledge of Java, OOP concepts and coding standardsExperience in working with continuous integration, build and source control tools such as Jenkins, Maven and GITA solid practical understanding of Agile Software Testing and Software Engineering conceptsExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProfessional certifications such as ISTQB, PMI-ACP or CSM (Certified Scrum Master) would be an added advantageA thirst for learning and regularly updating knowledge Benefits: US dollar-linked compensationPerformance-based annual bonusPerformance rewards and recognitionAgile Benefits - special allowances for Health, Wellness & Academic purposesPaid birthday leaveTeam engagement allowanceComprehensive Health & Life Insurance Cover - extendable to parents and in-lawsOverseas travel opportunities and exposure to client environmentsHybrid work arrangementSysco LABS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
