Location: TaastrupPosition type: Part-time (2 days/week), on-siteWe are looking for an experienced Quality Manager/QA Consultant. The role involves taking overall responsibility for quality and environmental activities. This position is based at our Taastrup site.Founded 3 years ago, Corax is a young and ambitious company with a growing presence in the aviation industry. We’re currently a close-knit team of 9 employees. Now we’re looking for an organized and proactive Quality Manager to join us on our journey. If you enjoy partnering with cross-functional teams, implementing scalable quality processes, and helping a company grow with confidence, this role is a great fit.Key areas of responsibility:You’ll be responsible for maturing our QA system and driving quality throughout the organization, setting the standards, shaping processes, and making quality a core part of how we work.Drive the continuous development and upkeep of Carax’s Quality and Environmental Management System to ensure compliance with standards such as AS9120, ISO 9001, ASA-100, and AC 00-56.Management of the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS).Serve as the Management Representative for the global organization and act as a primary QA contact during external audits and regulatory inspections.Represent the Quality function within the Site Management Group, contributing to both operational alignment and long-term strategic direction.Compile and present quality performance metrics and insights to site leadership and the global QA team.Plan and execute internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure and follow-up on corrective and preventive actions.Work closely with warehouse, sales, and supply chain teams to integrate quality standards and best practices across all workflows.Manage and oversee processes related to deviations, non-conformities, corrective actions (CARs), and customer complaints.You will refer to the COO. You should be prepared for some travel activity – estimated to 5-20 days a year.About You:We’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. At Corax, we value integrity, ownership, and the ability to make things happen.Your qualifications:Minimum 2+ years of experience in quality assurance within aviation or another regulated manufacturing environment.A degree in a relevant field such as engineering or comparable technical field.Experience with AS 9120 (or AS 9100 family) is preferred, though a background in ISO 9001 or other regulated quality management systems is also equally considered.Strong understanding of QMS implementation, audit leadership, and CAR processes.Fluent in English; proficiency in Danish is an advantage.Prior experience in a similar position is an advantage, but not essential.As a person and leader, you are proactive and self-driven, with strong communication and leadership skills that help you build trust across all levels of the organization. You combine a strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to quality management. You have a strong focus on execution.
