In this role you will be leading and developing the Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams. You will be a key member of the Site Leadership Team, responsible for shaping and implementing the site's quality strategy, ensuring compliance, driving performance and fostering a culture of excellence.This is a key leadership opportunity for an experienced Quality professional to join Syngenta and shape the future of our Grangemouth site's quality standards and performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop QA/QC teams,Fostering a culture of Quality excellence across the manufacturing siteDrive strategic quality initiatives aligned with global standardsOversee site Quality Management Systems and laboratory operationsEnsure ISO 9001 compliance and maintain accreditationCreate strategy to reduce customer complaintsDrive continuous improvement and operational efficiencyCollaborate with global teams and external stakeholdersLead quality aspects of change managementManage laboratory budgets and resourcesQualificationsDegree in Chemistry or related scientific field or relevant work experienceProven leadership experience in high-hazard manufacturingStrong knowledge of QMS principles and ISO 9001Expert understanding of analytical methods and instrumentationExperience with laboratory systems and quality management toolsTrack record of driving performance improvementsOutstanding communication and stakeholder management skillsChange management experienceStrong problem-solving abilitiesCommitment to HSEQ excellenceAdditional InformationSite DetailsSyngenta's Grangemouth Manufacturing Centre is one of our two award-winning manufacturing sites in the UK. The site was founded in 1919 and today employs nearly 400 skilled people in a variety of roles that include manufacturing, engineering, scientific and production support. Our goal is to operate “safely, reliably and cost effectively” and to help growers protect their crops and increase their yield.At Syngenta Grangemouth we have four plants dedicated to active ingredient (AI) manufacture, and one formulation and packaging plant.
