Job DescriptionQuality PlannerRole Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Planner to play a key role in planning and executing our maintenance program. Reporting to the OSD Maintenance Lead, you will ensure maintenance activities are effectively planned, scheduled, and executed. This role requires strong technical knowledge of equipment design and maintenance, with the ability to create detailed repair plans in a standard work format.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the development, implementation, and daily operation of the site maintenance system.Coordinate the Work Scheduling process in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager to meet maintenance backlog targets.Plan PM & CM work orders, including site visits, material bookings, task list creation, and risk assessments, working closely with contract providers.Develop and maintain the Planned and Predictive Maintenance (PPM) system, including job plans and maintenance frequencies.Operate and execute the Planning and Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Change Control System.Support equipment breakdown processes, identifying root causes and appropriate corrective actions (CAPAs).Manage spare parts purchasing and inventory control.Act as a Gatekeeper for incoming work requests, ensuring data accuracy, correct work types, and backlog management.Plan, estimate, and coordinate maintenance and project activities during Maintenance Shutdowns.Support annual equipment reviews and generate periodic Out of Trend (OOT) reports.Implement maintenance best practices, including MPS, OPPS, and 8 Step processes.Collaborate with Reliability Engineers on criticality assessments and develop maintenance strategies for new assets.Manage contractors, ensuring all GMP documentation is complete before work execution.Requirements:Trade qualification and/or a 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline.Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance, preferably in a GMP manufacturing environment.Experience with CMMS systems is essential; SAP and ProCal are advantageous.Proven experience in managing vendors and contractors.Strong understanding of World Class Maintenance practices.Knowledge of maintenance systems and work practices for both electrical and mechanical crafts.Familiarity with predictive and condition-monitoring maintenance techniques.Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.High personal integrity, credibility, and energy, with a track record of effective team collaboration.
