You will take part in studies that ensure our enzyme and microbe products are safe and ready for global markets. In this role you will work closely with skilled colleagues, coordinate studies, and contribute to our mission of delivering safe and sustainable biosolutions.Welcome to Product Safety, Enzyme & Protein Safety You will become part of Product Safety, which consists of three departments, one of which is the Enzyme & Protein Safety department. Product Safety shares the global responsibility for the safety of all Novonesis’ products across industries. We collaborate closely with stakeholders, colleagues and customers around the globe and contribute to all areas of Novonesis’ broad product portfolio.In the Enzyme & Protein Safety department, you will join a team of 18 experienced Scientists and Research Associates in a collaborative and supportive environment. We value openness, curiosity, and a positive team spirit.In this role, you will work closely with a small, dedicated team to plan and manage studies that generate data for regulatory submissions. You will receive training in ISO and GLP quality systems to ensure that all study data are in compliance and meet standards of scientific integrity. As Novonesis is on an exciting journey, you will also have the opportunity to help shape and improve our ways of working.As a Quality Specialist, you will make an impact by: Overseeing batch characterization studies as Study Director, ensuring compliance with quality standards through meticulous planning, execution, reporting, and archiving.Managing external studies at Contract Research Organizations as Monitor, ensuring all requirements are met.Maintaining and implementing GLP and ISO quality systems, draft and maintain SOP’s, participate in audits, and secure necessary documentation for regulatory purposes.Your role will involve project management and cross-functional collaboration with various stakeholders, including project teams, Pilot Plant, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and CROsFurthermore, you will present and communicate study results in English and DanishPotentially Relevant ExperienceRelevant education such as a M.Sc. in biotechnology, life science, or a related fieldExperience with GLP (OECD guidelines) and knowledge of global regulatory guidelines is advantageousA strong quality mindset and attention to detail, with the ability to critically evaluate study-related documentationStrong coordination skills, as you will be working with various stakeholders across multiple projects, to gather input and information. Project Management experience is therefore a strong advantage.Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a dynamic environment with several ongoing projects.You are proactive and willing to challenge existing procedures and processesA strong team player with a positive and curious mindsetStrong communication skills and confident in speaking and writing in English.
