Job Description
Job Purpose:To lead, manage, and continuously improve the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer-specific requirements. Ensure that all processes within the cable harness manufacturing operations consistently meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards, while driving organizational excellence and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Quality Management System (QMS):Establish, implement, and maintain the QMS according to ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer standards.Develop, review, and approve all QMS-related documents (procedures, manuals, work instructions, quality plans).Lead internal and external audits, including certification and customer audits.Ensure timely follow-up, closure, and verification of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Ensure all departments comply with QMS requirements through training, monitoring, and evaluation.Strategy & Leadership:Define and implement the quality system strategy aligned with company goals and customer expectations.Lead and mentor the Quality System team (engineers, auditors, document controllers).Promote a strong quality culture and continuous improvement mindset across the organization.Act as the management representative for quality matters, including certification bodies and customers.Process Improvement & Compliance:Drive system-level improvements to enhance product quality, process capability, and efficiency.Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality Control to identify risks and improvement opportunities.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality and system performance.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer-specific requirements (CSR).Audit Management:Plan and manage internal audit schedules; train and guide internal auditors.Coordinate with external auditors and customers during audits.Ensure audit readiness at all times and maintain robust documentation control.Documentation & Reporting:Oversee documentation control system to ensure traceability and revision control.Prepare and present regular reports on QMS performance, audit results, and continuous improvement initiatives.Lead management review meetings and ensure follow-up of decisions and actions.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Quality Management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role within cable harness / automotive / electronics manufacturing.Deep knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and IATF 16949 standards.Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D problem-solving, and audit management.Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.Proficient in English and Mandarin; experience with QMS software is an advantage.
