Tests cover functional areas under custom development, configuration, and integration.· Requirement Analysis: Analyze complex requirements and review end-to-end acceptance criteria to ensure they are testable and fit for purpose.· Test Types: Perform functional, regression, and integration testing, with a focus on identifying risks of introducing defects into the environment.· Defect Management: Participate in defect triage discussions, challenge severity perceptions, and report defects using tools like JIRA/Xray.· Collaboration: Work within a Scrum team, collaborating with integration developers and other stakeholders to align testing with business processes and integration solutions.· Reporting and Metrics: Contribute to management reporting with test metrics on planning, defects, and execution.· Risk Management: Escalate risks and issues to ensure timely resolution, particularly related to regression testing and system stability.Environment (Based on Integration Developer and Tester Descriptions):· Technical Environment:o The testing occurs within the Fineos ecosystem, which integrates with enterprise systems like authentication/authorization (SSO, OAuth2, SAML), payment platforms (EFT, disbursement, card networks), and API management tools (e.g., Kong Gateway).o The platform involves technologies such as Java (J2EE), REST APIs, XML, XSLT, JSON, SOAP, and middleware like Apache Camel or Spring Integration.o Testing spans multiple platforms (Linux/Unix/Windows) and may involve cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization.o The environment supports Agile and DevOps practices, with tools like Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, and Git for CI/CD and code quality.· Business Context: The Fineos platform supports insurance domain processes, particularly in life, pensions, credit protection, accident, or health insurance. Testers focus on the Risk Claims module, ensuring seamless claims lifecycle, data exchange, and business process orchestration.· Team Dynamics: The role operates in a fast-paced, enterprise transformation program, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams, including integration developers who build and maintain APIs, workflows, and data mappings.· Testing Focus: Emphasis on end-to-end (E2E) testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) support, and regression testing to maintain system stability in a complex integration landscape.Qualifications and Skills:· Essential:o Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.o 2–4 years of hands-on experience testing the Fineos platform, specifically the Risk Claims module.o Proficiency in defect reporting tools (JIRA/Xray) and experience with E2E testing, UAT support, and regression testing.o Strong client-facing skills, teamwork, emotional intelligence, and self-management.o Experience in the Insurance products particularly in credit protection, life, accident, or health insurance.· Desirable:o Additional Quality Assurance certifications.o Familiarity with code analysis tools (SonarQube, PMD, FindBugs) and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).· Soft Skills:o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.o Innovative problem-solving and analytical abilities.o High value on openness, transparency, and mentoring within the team.Please share the suitable resumes to ram.r@vysystems.com & https://www.linkedin.com/in/ramkumarjhen/Please attach the Updated Resume:Kindly fill details,1.
