Quality Welding Coordinator

We are searching for a hands-on professional who can bring existing procedures to life and ensure they are consistently implemented across production. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to make a real impact and who has the authority and drive to enforce quality standards in a growing organization.Location: On-site, daily presence required Bucharest, RomaniaMain Purpose of the Job:Lead the quality function and oversee the implementation and monitoring of internal procedures across all departments. Procedures are already documented but inconsistently applied, so the company needs someone who can take ownership, drive discipline, and ensure compliance – with strong backing from the General Manager.Job Profile:Implement and enforce internal quality procedures across production and related departments.Manage and coordinate a team of 3 quality control specialists who inspect daily production output.Collaborate with all departments to ensure alignment with quality standards.Prepare for and lead internal and external auditsDevelop clear action plans in collaboration with other departments.Monitor the execution of agreed processes and report progress and issues to top management.Establish authority and structure within the team and among colleagues.Candidate Profile:Relevant experience as a welding engineer involved in quality-related processes.Mandatory IWE (International Welding Engineer) certification or equivalent (e.g., EWE, IWT, IWS).Proven track record in implementing and managing quality systems in industrial environments.Strong communication skills and the ability to assert and maintain standards.A doer – someone who believes change is possible and takes initiative.Middle-level profile – we are not looking for a junior or an overqualified senior.Structured, process-oriented mindset with an eye for detail and results.Benefits:Competitive salary and annual bonus system.Meal ticketsOpportunity to play a key role in a growing and reputable industrial company.Direct support from top management.Dynamic and evolving work environment where initiative is appreciated.All candidates who meet the above qualifications are warmly encouraged to submit their applications online.
