Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you will report to the Business Application & Integrations Manager, and you will play a vital role in facilitating integration between various business applications and data sources to improve efficiency, streamline workflows and enhance overall performance. A day in the life of a Data Engineer will include:

Assisting as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions that meet business needs;Developing processes to extract data from source systems, transform data into a usable format, and load data into target systems;Ensuring data consistency and data quality by implementing data validation checks, data cleansing techniques;Transforming data from various sources into usable formats;Collaborating with Datawarehouse for automating data sources; Conducting thorough testing and resolving any issues before live implementation;Providing ongoing support for the implemented solutions;Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption PolicyRequirementsA BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject;Proven experience in data engineering or a related role for at least 2 year, preferably in the banking and recoveries sector;Strong knowledge of SQL;English fluency and strong communication skills, both verbal and writtenWhat Is Considered a PlusUnderstanding of interaction between different systems;Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills;Attention to detail and high level of ownership;Knowledge of industry best practices in data governance will be considered as an assetBenefitsYour Life @ QuantThis role is a office-based opportunity in Athens.
