🚀 Quantitative Researcher – Hedge FundLocation: SingaporeType: Full-timeAbout the RoleI am partnering with a US-based hedge fund as they expand their team in Asia, focusing on Asian Equity and Macro trading. What You’ll DoResearch and develop quantitative trading strategies across Asia markets.Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and alpha signals.Work collaboratively with quantitative developers and traders to take strategies from initial research through to full, automated production trading.Monitor strategy performance and optimize execution in live environments.Continuously monitor live strategy performance and proactively work on improving existing models.What We’re Looking ForAdvanced degree (PhD or MSc) in a highly quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Financial Engineering.2-5 years of proven experience in quantitative research within a leading hedge fund, prop trading firm, or investment bank.Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, modeling, and backtesting.Deep expertise in statistics, time-series analysis, and machine learning, with a demonstrable ability to apply these techniques to financial markets.A passion for markets, self-driven, curious, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and performance-oriented environment.If you believe you fit the requirements for the role, please click APPLY NOW or drop an email to amy.liu@ambition.com.sg.
