MEP Quantity Surveyor - Upper AustriaSalary: Up to €100,000 + Expenses + Benefits (Negotiable Depending on Experience)Location: Austria (New Build Data Centre Project Infrastructure)Employment: Full-Time, PermanentRight to Work in Austria is EssentialAbout the RoleBlue Fox Consult is supporting a leading international contractor delivering a major new-build data centre infrastructure project in Austria. We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong MEP (Mainly Electrical) experience to oversee commercial activities on this mission-critical development.You will play a key role in managing costs, contracts, and commercial strategy across complex MEP packages, ensuring value, compliance, and project profitability from early stages through handover.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full commercial lifecycle of MEP packages on a large-scale data centre infrastructure project.Prepare, review, and negotiate subcontractor agreements and procurement packages.Conduct cost planning, forecasting, value engineering, and cashflow analysis.Assess variations, claims, and project risks, issuing recommendations and solutions.Coordinate with project management, engineering, and client teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.Monitor progress against budget and prepare monthly CVRs.Support the commercial lead with strategy, reporting, and contractual compliance.Ensure that all MEP works align with project specifications, contractual obligations, and industry standards.RequirementsProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on major construction projects, ideally data centres, high-tech facilities, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or similar complex builds.Strong MEP commercial experience – essential.Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field.Excellent contractual knowledge (FIDIC or similar advantageous).Strong negotiation, reporting, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international project environment.Must have the legal right to work in Austria.Package & BenefitsSalary up to €100,000, depending on experience.Living expenses, accommodation support or allowances.Travel support and benefits package.Opportunity to work on one of Europe’s most exciting mission-critical construction projects.Long-term career progression with an award-winning contractor.
