Role: Intermediate Quantity Surveyor Must be living in Ireland. No visa sponsorship.Location: DublinJob Type: Permanent/Full timeStart Date: As soon as possible Noel Group are currently partnered with a Irish Main Contractor with over 120 year’s active presence in the industry who are seeking to appoint a highly-motivated individual in the role of Intermediate Quantity Surveyor reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor.You will be working within a well-established team on a variety of prestigious projects.The current workload is exciting and you will be involved at all stages of high value projects. Education (either of the following)Degree in Quantity SurveyingGeneral Construction or Engineering Degree with 4 years surveyingQS conversion MSc Job Responsibilities Procuring Subcontractors & SuppliersCompiling and Issuing Sub ContractsCommercial management of Sub Contractors and SuppliersNegotiating and agreeing Sub Contractor final accountsAdministering the provisions of Sub Contracts in respect to notificationsResponsibility for agreeing monthly valuations with the Client's representativeInvolvement in the production of monthly Value Cost Reconciliation and Forecasting reportsInvolvement in preparation of monthly project Payment ClaimsInvolvement in the production of Internal and External Project Cashflow informationManaging Change Control including change identification and negotiation RequirementsMinimum 4 year's experience in a QS roleContractually and commercially astuteExcellent written and spoken communication skills, dealing with clients and design teamsGood NegotiatorExperience administering RIAI, GCC & Bespoke forms of contractIT LiterateExperience with Cubit, CostX & COINS software packages preferablePrevious experience working on high quality medium and large scale projects in various sectors Industrial, Health, Pharma, Commercial & Education
