Junior Quantity Surveyor – Data Center ProjectLocation: Gävle, Sweden (On-site, 5 days per week)Employment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleActively seeking a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor to join my client's project team on a large-scale data center development in Gävle. The successful candidate will support the commercial team in cost management, measurement, and reporting activities, ensuring value and compliance throughout the construction lifecycle.This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-tech construction environment, working alongside experienced QS and project professionals.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting throughout project phases.Support preparation and evaluation of tender documents, subcontractor packages, and variations.Perform quantity take-offs and measurements for procurement and valuation purposes.Maintain and update cost trackers and project financial reports using Excel and internal systems.Assist in progress valuations, payment applications, and final accounts.Liaise with site teams to track materials, productivity, and cost performance.Ensure commercial processes comply with company procedures and client requirements.Provide accurate data and reports to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager.RequirementsMust be able to travel on-site 5 days a week Must have an IDO6 card to be able to go on-site 1–3 years’ experience in a QS or cost management role (data center or MEP-heavy projects desirable).Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and formulas.Experience using Sumnist / Causeway Estimating..
