We’re bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.Key Responsibilities Cost Management & EstimationPrepare detailed cost estimates and cost plans at various stages of project development (FEED, EPC, and execution phases).Validate contractors’ cost submissions, claims, and variations against contract scope and deliverables.Monitor project cost performance and forecast final costs (EAC, ETC).Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives. Contract & Commercial AdministrationReview and interpret contract terms, conditions, and obligations for both client and contractor agreements.Manage change control processes, including identification, evaluation, and negotiation of variations and claims.Ensure compliance with PMC and client commercial procedures.Support tender evaluation, bid comparison, and recommendation processes. Procurement & InvoicingCoordinate with procurement and finance teams for progress measurement, certification, and payment approval.Review and validate contractors’ invoices, progress reports, and supporting documentation.Track commitments, expenditures, and forecast cash flows across the project portfolio. Reporting & DocumentationPrepare regular cost and commercial reports for internal management and client review.Maintain up-to-date cost databases, benchmarks, and project records.Provide input to monthly progress and performance reports. Risk & ComplianceIdentify potential cost and commercial risks; recommend mitigation measures.Support audits and ensure documentation aligns with company and client governance requirements.Ensure compliance with local regulations, health, safety, and environmental standards.EducationQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS, AIQS, or equivalent) preferred.ExperienceExperience in cost engineering or quantity surveying, preferably in oil & gas or petrochemical projects.Experience in PMC or EPC environment.Proven experience in managing multiple projects within a portfolio setup.Strong understanding of industry-standard contracts (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, bespoke EPC contractsMoving forward togetherWe’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive and respectful workplace where everyone feels they belong, can bring themselves, and are heard.
