About The RoleWe’re seeking a strategic, action-oriented Product Owner to join our team. You will play a critical role in defining and delivering digital and service solutions that empower individuals to better navigate their healthcare journey—accessing the right care, utilizing the best benefits, and reducing friction in their healthcare experience.

As a Product Owner, you will translate business goals, user needs and buyer needs into a clear and actionable product backlog. Working closely with engineering, operations, clinical experts, and other key business stakeholders, you'll drive the development of features that improve outcomes for our members and maximize value for our clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating the business vision and strategy into meaningful features, building and actively managing product backlogs, documenting business requirements and creating supporting artifacts for cross-functional alignment (e. g.

journey maps, wireframes, service blueprints), reviewing completed features against acceptance criteria and gathering input/feedback to identify future opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving healthcare problems, possess a strong understanding of the health care and pharmacy benefits space and have experience with delivering both service and technology solutions.

What you’ll doThoughtfully collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate strategy into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria and KPIs – to ensure we’re delivering intended value Support development of long-term product road maps aligned to strategic outcomes while managing stakeholder expectations across business unitsCreate well-defined features with quality documented requirements, user stories and acceptance criteriaActively manage and refine backlog with emphasis on evaluating features for prioritization based on value and effort criteria Collaborate and participate closely with technology development teams responsible for delivery Review completed features against strategic intent and acceptance criteria – articulate rework or adjusted approach if necessaryCommunicate roadmap, progress, and feature releases to internal stakeholdersUse user feedback, analytics and metrics to proactively guide recommendations, iterations and other decisionsWhat you’ll bring3–5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in pharmacy benefit management, health care or financeStrong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and tools (e.

g.

Jira, Confluence)Excellent communications and stakeholder management skills Highly organized, analytical and able to easily prioritize workFamiliarity with financial and impact analysesUnderstanding of healthcare systems and pharmacy benefits, terminology, payer-provider-PBM dynamics, member engagement strategiesAdministrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Confluence/Jira, IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom), and telephones efficientlyExperience working in HIPAA-compliant environmentsFamiliarity with EHRs, benefits systems, or clinical workflowsExperience with technical and operational integrations with 3rd partiesStrong administrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom), and telephones efficiently.
