About The RoleBeenleigh Special School is seeking an experienced and student-focused school leader for the role of Head of Department - Curriculum.

In this role you will work as part of a team of curriculum leaders focused on the delivery or school and departmental initiatives. You will be jointly responsible for whole school curriculum development and pedagogy for students with a disability, and building the capability of a large number of teachers with a wide range of teaching experience. Your ResponsibilitiesAs the Head of Department - Curriculum, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.

Embed socially just practices in daily school life. Set high standards for student and staff performance. Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
