In this dynamic role, you’ll contribute directly to our digital transformation by maintaining and enhancing business systems, developing innovative workflow solutions, and enabling smarter ways of working. About The RoleAs a Business Systems Officer, you'll work as part of a supportive team to provide day-to-day technical support, maintenance and improvement of QLeave's business systems and applications—including CRM, ERP, intranet and web platforms.
You'll assist in system development, automation, and troubleshooting, ensuring that our platforms are reliable, secure and aligned with operational needs. A key focus of this role is helping the organisation improve its business processes through digital solutions, including the use of Microsoft Power Automate, Forms and SharePoint Lists. You'll report to the Team Leader, Digital Solutions, and contribute to delivering real value through smarter, more efficient ways of working. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain QLeave's business systems, websites, and custom applications, ensuring they meet evolving business requirements.
Design and implement business process automation using Power Automate, Microsoft Forms, and SharePoint Lists to enhance efficiency and user experience. Provide expert support for web-based systems, including development, testing, and documentation. Deliver user training and promote digital literacy to ensure the successful adoption of system improvements. Monitor data integrity, security, and system performance, and apply problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues. Contribute to continuous improvement by reviewing standards and developing tools and procedures that support high-quality outcomes. Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to understand system needs, promote best practice, and ensure compliance with government and industry standards.

We're looking for a collaborative team player with a strong foundation in business systems, automation tools, and stakeholder engagement. To be successful in this role, you'll demonstrate your ability to: Analyse, design, develop, test, implement, and support web-based applications and databases, showing flexibility in meeting customer needs and resolving issues as they arise.
Develop and contribute to simple project plans with clear milestones, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and maintain accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate effectively as part of a team aligned to ITIL principles, demonstrating a willingness to learn, respond to feedback, and support ongoing improvements. Work confidently within SQL environments, including writing queries, supporting stored procedures, and assisting with basic database administration tasks. Design and implement business process automation using tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, Forms, and SharePoint Lists, creating practical, user-focused solutions that improve workflows. There are no mandatory qualifications for this role.
However, experience with Dynamics 365, Power BI, or formal training in PRINCE2 or Agile methodologies will be highly regarded.
