The Director Corporate Services leads a multi-disciplinary team of approximately 50 staff in delivering operational services to the Office of the Public Guardian. Working closely with the Public Guardian and Deputy Public Guardians, this role is a key leadership position that indirectly contributes to efficient and effective frontline service delivery to vulnerable Queenslanders. This is a unique permanent opportunity to drive an agenda of innovation and business excellence to support OPGās operational objectives and critical business systems.
ResponsibilitiesThe Director of Corporate Services is a senior leadership role responsible for leading and facilitating the efficient and effective delivery of the Office of the Public Guardian's Corporate Services business unit. The purpose of the role is to drive proactive and responsive support to OPGs operational service delivery areas through the development and implementation of critical business systems across the organisation. The role is accountable for the following key functions across OPG:
Finance and procurement Performance reporting and analytics Risk, governance and strategic planning Communication and information technology Human resources Specific projects and initiatives that support OPG's strategic objectivesApplications to remain current for 12 months.
