Your ResponsibilitiesAs the Head of Special Education Services, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Drive the school's vision and values to foster an evolving, high-quality professional learning community, supporting students as global citizens.
Lead a collaborative Education Services Department, partnering with students, parents, and a range of industry bodies to support pathways for students with identified learning needs. Manage and coordinate the delivery of high-quality advice and support provided by the Education Services Program and Learning Support Programs (Literacy and Numeracy). Lead and manage the Education Services Program to provide advice to classroom teachers for students with disabilities as needed. Manage a diverse team of teaching and technical staff, optimising human resources across the school to advance our commitment to inclusive practices.
Provide high-quality advice to the school leadership team, classroom teachers, and other school staff to develop, plan, and implement effective reasonable adjustments for students with disabilities. Coordinate and provide intensive, targeted teaching for students requiring intervention through class dashboards.
