Resources Safety and Health Queensland (RSHQ) is the independent regulator of worker safety and health in Queensland's mining, quarrying, petroleum, gas, and explosives industries. The Occupational Health (OH) division within RSHQ is seeking an experienced Data Quality Officer to join our Data Quality team in the Health Surveillance Unit. You will deliver programs to monitor and improve data quality and governance across the division. This role is offered on a permanent full-time basis. As a Data Quality Officer you will be part of a team that is building a data quality program from the ground up.
You will monitor data quality as well as identify and implement solutions that improve and maintain data excellence; and influence stakeholders to support these objectives. You will work within a team to deliver data quality programs that are consistent with best practice information management principles. What We Are Looking ForSomeone who is passionate about data and understands its value as an asset. A delivery-orientated data quality professional who effectively identifies and remediates data quality issues. High level of understanding of the importance of managing and maintaining a data quality framework.
Well-developed communication and facilitation skills (written and oral) with an ability to work collaboratively in a dynamically changing environment and influence stakeholder actions.
