The role of the Human Resources Support Officer is to coordinate, implement and monitor human resource activities, processes and systems and provide a high level of administrative support for the South West Region (Youth Justice). Key ResponsibilitiesAs HR Support Officer, you will specifically: Coordinate and monitor payroll and recruitment processing in liaison with the Managers within the Region, Coordinate and monitor the center's human resource computerized records systems and assist the Manager, Human Resources in preparing reports and advice for other managers. Provide advice to, and work collaboratively with, the Managers and Regional Director on operational and administrative tasks.
Coordinate and monitor recruitment activities within the region with the relevant Managers and the Regional Director. Liaise as required with operational workgroups on workforce planning issues, matters of payroll, Workcover and other administrative functions. Provide supervision and training to human resource administrative and support staff in applicable human resource systems. Participate productively and collaboratively as a member of a team in delivering support and services to staff and clients. Applications to remain current for 12 months.
