QBuild is a commercialised business unit of the Queensland Government.

It has been Queensland Government's builder for over 160 years, playing an important role in communities across the state by building and maintaining government-owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations and correctional and health facilities. About The RoleYou will play a pivotal role in supporting QBuild's ambition to strengthen Queensland's building and construction industry by providing strategic leadership in customer relationship management and program delivery across Central Queensland.

Duties And Skills InvolvedAbility to lead and manage a customer-facing team to ensure accountability, quality, and satisfaction for all QBuild services delivered across the Central Queensland RegionAbility to develop and implement methodologies for capturing and delivering customer requirements, focusing on customer satisfaction, value for money, and efficient planning of work requirements across financial years. Oversee the coordination and management of building construction and maintenance projects, ensuring alignment with client scope, time, cost, quality, and QBuild profitability targets.

Foster strong customer relationships through continuous engagement, effective communication, and stakeholder management, while driving negotiations with consultants, contractors, and local authorities to deliver value-for-money outcomes. Ability to provide leadership, mentoring, and professional development to a team of approximately 20 staff, ensuring high performance, integration of customer-facing roles, and adherence to quality assurance and contract management standards.
