Build and sustain positive relationships with students, parents, community and elders, and provide input into local decision making to ensure optimum outcomes. Liaise with families and conduct home visits to encourage school attendance and to motivate students. Liaise with students and families to recognise any educational, social, emotional or behavioural issues. Work within a team based management approach as a contact for students, families or community members regarding any concerns. Please view the Role Description for a full list of responsibilities.

What You BringKnowledge of trauma-informed practices to support students with complex learning profiles with particular focus on social emotional and behavioural needs. Capacity implement targeted support strategies that promote student engagement and success. Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with classroom teachers. A commitment to inclusive education and fostering a safe and supportive learning environment. Provide trauma-informed support for individual students to ensure successful engagement with school.
