Role OverviewWe are seeking an Assistant Vice President (FAR) to join our client’s dynamic and growing team in the Cayman Islands.

This role offers the opportunity to work directly with global clients, advising and supporting them through key regulatory filing requirements, while leading on high-quality deliverables across multiple service lines. Key ResponsibilitiesManage the preparation and filing of Fund Annual Returns (FARs) for Cayman Islands Registered Private Funds and Holding Company Annual Books of Accounts (BoAs) in support of Economic Substance Return filings.

Oversee the day-to-day delivery of FAR and BoA services, including workflow planning, execution, tracking, and reporting of deliverables. Liaise directly with clients to gather required information and provide updates on deliverables. Review FARs, BoAs, and related filings prepared by junior colleagues, offering guidance, task delegation, and technical support. Assist in resolving technical queries, ensuring consistent approaches across engagements. Coordinate with attorneys, auditors, and other stakeholders on reviews, filings, and issue resolution. Support billing processes and ensure timely invoicing for services rendered. Contribute to the development and implementation of service line procedures, process improvements, and documentation.

Maintain compliance with internal policies and professional standards, while proactively identifying opportunities for efficiency. Key RequirementsInternationally recognised accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience. Prior experience in fund audit, reporting, or regulatory filings is essential. Strong knowledge of Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) fund regulations and FAR reporting requirements. Robust technical accounting expertise, with the ability to analyse financial statements; familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS is advantageous. Proficiency with MS Office, including advanced Excel skills.

Proven ability to manage deadlines, review and sign-off on a large volume of deliverables, and maintain high attention to detail. Strong organisational, communication, and client-facing skills, with the ability to foster teamwork and mentor junior colleagues.
