Job Description

Role ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for leading influencer marketing and social media marketing of Klook Japan.Influencer MarketingCreate and implement effective influencer marketing strategies of Klook Japan that are in line with the overall Klook Japan marketing strategies as well as the global influencer marketing strategiesManage end-to-end influencer projects in Japan, from acquisition, negotiation, contracting, onboarding, managing to reporting of their performance to local and global stakeholdersWork closely with cross-functional teams including marketing campaigns, global influencer marketing, global supply, etc. to ensure strategic alignment through necessary negotiation and to streamline operationsExpand and nurture Klook ambassador community through the in-house affiliate program for social media influencers called “Klook Kreator Program” to achieve its goals and KPIsHandle day-to-day communication with influencers and related vendors, negotiating fair rates for content, ensuring the relevant agreements are in place, guiding them to post the most relevant contents to meet objectives and troubleshoot as necessarySocial Media MarketingManage Klook Japan’s social media accounts from overall planning, execution and reporting (Instagram, X and others)Leverage social media for new user acquisition and bring impact for key products and campaigns Review, report and improve performance of influencer projects and Klook Japan’s social media accounts, aligning with the team and marketing goalsPreferred Experience And Skills4+ years of experience in influencer marketing, social media marketing and/or digital marketing under tech and BtoC field (lifestyle, travel, lifestyle, e-commerce, culture space is preferred) with a proven track record of delivering resultsExcellent understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, X, TikTok, etc.) and how influencer marketing worksExhibits excellent strategic thinking and sound business judgement with a proven track record of taking ownershipExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively and strategically with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, both in Japanese and EnglishStrong analytical skills to extract actionable insights from any form of data and to evolve influencer marketing strategies to the next levelsStrong leadership skills with experience managing and coaching direct reportsExperience in PR, brand marketing and/or affiliate marketing for B2C online products is a plusThe Ideal CandidateHas a start-up attitude with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset and a willingness to help othersIs not afraid to work independently when neededIs a team player with the ability to work across a matrixed organization in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environmentIs globally minded and comfortable working with people from diverse backgrounds and across different time zones
