R&D Engineer

Since 1802, we have been embracing innovations and sustainable solutions of the highest quality that add value to people’s lives around the globe.We are now looking for a highly motivated and technically skilled R&D Engineer to join our team.Key Responsibilities• Provide expertise in polymer materials (PE, PP, PVC, etc.) and lead new product development activities.• Ensure effective collaboration with Quality and Production teams for new or alternative raw material trials; plan, execute, evaluate, and report trial results.• Design and develop test plans for prototypes and raw material trials ensuring functionality, usability, and customer satisfaction.• Define and manage R&D project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.• Monitor emerging trends, technologies, and patents in the industry; share findings with relevant teams and prepare technical documentation for patents.• Evaluate technical competencies of suppliers and materials, identify improvement areas for existing products, and lead enhancement projects.• Identify new product ideas and manage end-to-end development processes in cooperation with Project Management, Production, Quality, and Purchasing teams.• Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to identify innovation opportunities and product improvement areas through benchmarking.• Actively participate in customer claim management, continuous improvement initiatives, cost-reduction projects, and provide technical solutions for product and process issues.
